Attention: All Scouts and Volunteers in Nigeria!
WARNING TO SCOUT VOLUNTEERS ENGAGING IN MULTIPLE FORGERIES, IMPERSONATION AND CONTRAVENING THE DIRECTIVES OF THE WORLD BODY OF SCOUTS – WOSM.
We have observed with dismay the continued forgeries, impersonation and divisive tendencies aimed at destabilizing The Scout Association of Nigeria by some unscrupulous scout volunteers in Nigeria who have engaged in unwholesome activities detrimental to the image of scouting in Nigeria and the world at large. This is a note of warning to volunteers who are involved in these schemes of the dire consequences of these acts of criminality under the extant laws of the Nigerian state. It is only in the spirit of scouting that these misdemeanors have been allowed to be taken this far, not for lack of the will to decisively manage the situation as it presents itself. This is the last friendly warning!
All scouts and volunteers are hereby cautioned to refrain from dealing with these impersonators as doing so will be at their own peril and those who would not heed this warning shall face appropriate disciplinary action.*
